Not a single fatal accident, ever

Since its first flights in 1994, no one has died in an accident on a Qatar Airways flight, and none of its aircraft has been lost in flight. The two aircraft it has written off were both destroyed by fire on the ground during maintenance, with no one on board: an A300 at Abu Dhabi in 2007 and an A321 at Doha in 2017.

It flies one of the larger long-haul fleets in the world — Boeing 777s and 787s, Airbus A350s and A380s — so that record covers a great many long flights.
