1. What FlyBud is

FlyBud shows you the status of flights you choose to follow, a turbulence forecast for the route, the weather where you are landing, and facts about the aircraft and airline. It is built to help nervous flyers understand their flight. It is information, not advice, and it is not a substitute for anything your airline, the airport or the crew tell you.

FlyBud is operated by Jaume Ros ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

2. What FlyBud is not

The forecast is a forecast. It comes from weather models and pilot reports and it can be wrong. Flight times, gates and belts come from airlines and airports and can change after we show them. Never make a decision about check-in, boarding or safety on the basis of the app alone — the airline's own channels and the crew's instructions always win.

3. Your account

You need an account to follow flights, and you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for:

• Keeping your sign-in details to yourself
• What happens under your account
• Giving us accurate information (a working email address, mainly)

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

4. FlyBud Pro subscriptions

FlyBud is free to use. FlyBud Pro adds more detail about each flight and is an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly or yearly at the price shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Where the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal, you agree that the service starts immediately after purchase.

Prices may change. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Apple or Google will tell you before it affects a renewal.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Use the app for anything unlawful
• Try to get at other people's flights or data, or interfere with our systems
• Scrape, resell or redistribute the data we show you — most of it is licensed to us, not owned by us
• Share a flight link with the intention of harassing the traveler on it

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Sharing a flight

When you share a flight, we publish a public page showing that flight's status. The page carries nothing about you. Stop following the flight to take the page down.

7. The data

Flight, aircraft, weather and position data come from third parties — FlightAware AeroAPI, AeroDataBox, NOAA, ECMWF, Deutscher Wetterdienst, Open-Meteo, aviationweather.gov, the ADS-B community and others credited under About. We show it as we receive it and cannot guarantee it is complete, current or correct. Contains AeroAPI data © FlightAware LLC 2026. Contains modified ECMWF data. Based on data from Deutscher Wetterdienst (CC BY 4.0). Airline names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the airline.

8. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of it, including a missed flight, a decision made on a forecast, or the app being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

9. App stores

If you downloaded FlyBud from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) also applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content and have no obligation to support it.

10. Changes

We may change these terms; the date at the top tells you when. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
