Not a single fatal accident, ever

Allegiant has not had a fatal accident since it began flying in the late 1990s, and no Allegiant aircraft has been written off. The only event on record to substantially damage an Allegiant aircraft, a 2007 landing after the nose gear failed, left an aircraft that was repaired and flown again.

Allegiant flies Airbus A320-family jets and newer Boeing 737 MAXs, mostly on point-to-point routes from smaller cities. It carried about 18.7 million passengers in 2025 and is registered with IATA's operational safety audit (IOSA).
